1. Fire Rainbow

This weather phenomenon is called a circumhorizontal arc, or “fire rainbow”. The effect is formed by flat hexagonal ice crystals in cirrus clouds. The sun needs to be high in the sky. The light hits the ice crystals where it is split into its component colours when it passes through them, The crystals behave like millions of tiny prisms creating a rainbow-like effect within the clouds.
